Send WhatsApp Message Node not working

Hi guys. I’m trying the Send WhatsApp Message node but I’m struggling with this: When I run the test I got a Success Meta data like Access Token and Sender ID are correct (When I tested changing them to random stuff I got errors) But the final user is not receiving the message. What am I doing wrong?

Hi @Murilo Ravani, actually, its WhatsApp API rule, you'll require to verify the sender and the recipients number in your WhatsApp Business Suit Dashboard and then send a test request from the dashboard to establish the connection. Instead we suggest you to use the Autoresponder template, which should work flawlessly - https://docs.buildship.com/trigger-nodes/whatsapp-bot...

It seems like this specific issue about the Send WhatsApp Message node is not listed in the frequently asked questions. However, here are some general steps you could consider checking: 1. Phone Number Format: Ensure that the recipient's phone number is in the correct format for international dialing, often starting with the country code.
2. Recipient's WhatsApp: Verify that the recipient is an active WhatsApp user with the number you're trying to message. 3. Service Provider: Some service providers might block bulk or automated messaging services. Check with your service provider if there are any restrictions. 4. WhatsApp API Limitations: Confirm if there are any policy updates or restrictions on the WhatsApp Business API being used. If the above doesn’t resolve the issue, it’s best to reach out to BuildShip support via the in-app support feature for further assistance since the issue appears to be persistent despite indicating success in node testing.

Hi @Murilo Ravani, couple of things to check: 1. Are you using the free sender number that Meta provides? 2. If you are then you will need to verify the recipient number in the meta dashboard to be able to receive messages.

Nope, its my commercial number. When I try to send using my own code with the same data at my environment , it works properly.

Hi, I’ve been looking into this but when I try to reproduce with our keys from meta I do get a response sent and received. But it can be a little misleading using our meta account because our setup might be different from yours. Would you be able to hop on a short call sometime for us to review your setup?
