Get email attachments
Hi,
I trying to replicate a workflow that I have running on FastGen, this just have a email trigger and get me a public URL that I can send to a external API to be processed. With Buildship I'm stuck on the first step: I already got the email and I can get the list of files attached, but, how can I access the actual files? I'm trying to save it to Buildship File Storage, can someone please help? Thanks!

AI Response
I couldn't find any pre-built nodes related to saving files from an email trigger to Buildship File Storage. You might consider reaching out directly via in-app support if you need specific guidance on implementing this workflow within BuildShip.

no one? I had the filename, but without a path or url so I can't access the file
HI @Felipe The current Email Trigger doesn't allow to access the attachment files, we are tracking this functionality and will be adding it soon.
I just stumbled on this post. @Gaurav Chadha was there ever an update on this? I'm currently trying to set up a flow where I can capture the attachment file content sent to an Email trigger address.
yeah, the trigger now supports attachments you can process it via gmail attachment node https://buildship.com/blog/automate-your-inbox-with-buildship-s-gmail-nodes

But it requires Gmail, no? What if I'm using the email address supplied by BS?
Which Gmail address is provided by BuildShip?
You'll have to authenticate with your own gmail account
It's the email address
xxxxxxx@buildship.email
supplied by the "Email Trigger" triggeremail trigger is different, the support for atachment is currenlty added on Gmail Trigger only
Right, gotcha, so it's currently not possible for Email Trigger. I assume then that the best workaround would be to set up a gmail account, and do a "GMail Trigger" and then a "get email attachment" action?
right
Do you know if there's any plan for Outlook support? We're a business that runs on o365 😅
Yeah, we are tracking and working on an Outlook Trigger, will be available soon, stay tuned 😉
