streamlining customer support

Hi @everyone πŸ‘‹ We have been using Discord for all community discussions on Rowy - including support. Which hasn't been great - as conversations tend to get lost πŸ‘Ž So, we have decided to move support for Rowy to Github Discussions πŸŽ‰ It is a forum that is searchable and allows you to see if others faced similar issues / how they solved it. We hope this transition will give a better quality of support and we welcome any feedback. πŸ‘‰ If you need any support with Rowy going forward, please raise your queries with relevant info here: https://github.com/rowyio/rowy/discussions We will continue to use Discord as a space for the community for any live discussion, general chat, or sharing of ideas and for broad topics like "how does this look in the future", "what would be the best way to contribute to X". However, every support request with specific questions would find a better place in a Github Discussion. Best, Rowy Team PS: It would mean a whole lot to us, if you can star the Rowy project on Github (if you haven't already). Also, if you enjoy using Rowy please leave a comment on this Testimonial thread πŸ’œ https://github.com/rowyio/rowy/discussions/697

. We've set up some workflows that have dramatically increased our ability to do customer support. tldr; use Front app! anyways if you think it would be helpful I can write something up and share some looms of how it works. when we were in the middle of our beta launch we were getting 300+ requests a day across discord Twitter GitHub I work at https://github.com/warpdotdev/Warp

I recommend reading this https://front.com/classroom/whats-front-and-why-is-it-a-better-way-to-work Twitter they have a native integration for. Regarding discord, I built a discord bot that sends a message to a cloud function that then uses this endpoint https://dev.frontapp.com/docs/creating-a-custom-channel For github you can just create an email address just for github--google group in our case since we use gsuite--and then have it so that it receives notifications for all activity

Did you use a Zapier or Automate.io for the Discord bot?

Thanks Elvis making a recording, that looks really good to be able to manage all the support cases in one place. Will explore it πŸ‘

Yes of course! Let me know if there are other things I can send over. Rooting for yall! @harini another thing we've been thinking through is setting up a discourse. since github discussions don't seem to be indexed by search. we think that'll help with support SEO and general SEO in the long run

We have tried discourse in the past and didn’t have a great experience with it (it’s take a bit of effort to set it up right). GitHub discussion apparently do index in seo accordingly some forums, the GitHub wiki however doesn’t.
