Question about credit calculation for keyless nodes

Hello everyone, I recently ran a workflow using a Claude 3.7 Sonnet keyless node in Buildship. The workflow took about 11 seconds to complete, so I was expecting the cost to be around 11 credits based on the usual “1 credit for the first 3 seconds, then 1 credit per additional second” rule. However, I saw in the documentation that keyless nodes might work differently in terms of credit calculation. Can you confirm if keyless nodes are calculated in a different way than the standard time-based credit system? Thanks!

BuildShip keyless AI nodes, such as Claude 3.7 Sonnet, are billed using BuildShip credits, which cover both the execution and the underlying API costs—removing the need for users to manage external API keys or separate billing accounts. For keyless nodes, credits are deducted based on the specific model and usage, with each model (including Claude 3.7 Sonnet) having an approximate input and output word limit per credit, rather than strictly following the standard time-based credit system used for most workflow nodes. For example, Claude 3.7 Sonnet keyless usage is listed as supporting approximately 13,000 input words and 6,500 output words per credit, indicating a usage-based rather than time-based billing structure for these nodes. For the most accurate and up-to-date details on credit consumption for keyless nodes, users are advised to check the Node Explorer within the BuildShip app. 🔗 References: 1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-_G3t2jvs4 2. https://buildship.com/keyless 3. https://buildship.com/blog/credit-based-pricing 4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_5oK3rhKGo 5. https://buildship.com/pricing

Hello @Gaurav Chadha i hope you are doing fine ? thank for your feedback, the AI bot answer is clear, but a sing keyless call costs me more than 1000 credits, so i was very surprised, i will never use nodes without using my keys 🙁

are you using image inputs? You can refer to this section of keyless nodes, it is cost efficient when you compare with pricing of ai models
