You’ve actually answered my question. So that means all the backend stuff will be hosted on Google Cloud Platform, but through buildship. And GCP is equally as good as AWS and Heroku. Ok fine, and with the expansion, ie. BYOC, does buildship offer the installation and setup process/integration for we the “no so very technical” people?
Maybe we pay an amount to the buildship team and they setup everything for us seamlessly, to our own GCP server??
Please let me know this and the cost involved please 🙏🏾

Wow thanks a lot!! It worked! Is there a place to find these simple code snippets to use in buildship for we the non coders? I tried using chatgpt but it kept giving me so many firebase.firebaseserver….etc codes.
Maybe if you guys(buildship) could recommend, or put up a blog post for these simple code snippets, it would be great. Parsing dates, formatting dates, functions…etc

No please, I don’t mean uploads. I mean an app where a user can call another user in real time video call or audio call.
Its a dating app I am building. And I need users to be able to call each other in REAL-TIME on video or audio.
I saw the MUX integration on FF, but I understand that with that, when the app is closed or the phone is locked, a user cannot receive calls. Calls only come through when the app is open and that’s a big problem

Wow this makes super perfect sense! So its only the firebase nodes that trigger firebase costs👌🏾💯….Been struggling with this after I saw a youtube video out there saying using buildship, you will be paying double costs. Both on firebase and on buildship because buildship is sort of built on top of google cloud projects….something of that sort.
I don’t know if Im saying it correctly but yeah.
Thanks a lot, you of all people (CEO of buildship), clarifying this to me helps put my mind at ease.
I guess its full scale buildship now💪🏾💪🏾🔥💯👊🏾
